34th ST Services Business Card Design

The name “34th St Services” is a reference to the (original) “Miracle on 34th Street” movie. I chose this because, in the movie, Santa Claus tells customers how to find what they are looking for by sending them to other stores, contrary to what Macy’s sales policies are. In doing so, not only does he make customers happy, but he also ultimately builds incredible brand loyalty and increase Macy’s business by building a reputation for having exceptional customer service.
While I do not want anything as seasonal as a Christmas-type look, I do definitely love the retro feel of a 1940’s post-WWII design ethic, particularly as a juxtaposition to the fact that we are a technology consulting firm. Playing on the “good old days” nostalgia for good service (myth though it often was) is the idea.
My consulting practice focuses on three areas, I am open to how they are worded/organized:
I really liked the diagonal placement of the logo in the mock-ups. I would like to find a way to have all the business card details on the same side of the card, but I am open to having it be two-sided if that’s how the design works better.
