Skin An Apothecary
Logos & Branding
What is the exact name you would like in your logo?
Skin, An Apothecary
What is your industry?
What are the top 3 things you would like to communicate through your logo?
1. The graphics should be tasteful and high-end to fit into luxury spas and boutiques. We would like to add a little more color to the label, but not strong tones, still in a softer palette.
2. A modern twist on the idea of classic ‘apothecary’ labels and fonts, to convey a sense of history to the line.
3. The logo should be fairly unisex, but lean more toward a feminine aesthetic. This product is sold to both sexes, but the majority are women and it is retailed usually in boutiques and spas aimed at women. We just don’t want it so frilly a man wouldn’t feel comfortable having it in his shower as well.
What logo styles do you like (image + text, image only, text only, etc.)
Margot Elena lines, Lollia and Library of Flowers. We like the use of font and text, a blend of the classic and the modern.
Illuminated Hand Soap on the Anthropologie website. We love the color palette of all three options shown, the font and the sense of whimsy the unusual shape of the label conveys.
We like the classic understatement and quite femininity that they’re label/font and color choices convey. It would appeal to multiple ages.
