Brief:

ector Luxury Vinyl Wall Tile.

They currently sell a line of flooring, typically 12”x12” or 12” x 24” tiles, and 6”x36” planks. Almost all patterns resemble wood or natural stone.

Many consumers have asked the question of whether these flooring products can be used on walls. The answer has been no until now.

They have developed a vinyl tile product, Vector, that can be glued directly to the wall. Their goal is to excite the flooring industry and the consumer by introducing this innovative new vinyl product that finally, by popular demand, can be used on the walls, not just floors anymore.

The term Luxury Vinyl Tile, or LVT, is a term commonly used to describe and market vinyl floor tiles, usually brands and products that are upper end or commercially rated. Therefore, in order to grab the attention of vinyl consumers, we are sticking with the Luxury Vinyl Tile tagline as part of the title and adding the word Wall to better grab the consumers we are attempting to reach.

While we want our logo to focus on the word Vector, the full brand name will be Vector Luxury Wall Tile.

While not imperative, it might be nice to have a logo that somehow hints at the definition of “vector” as it may apply to this product.

There are many definitions of the word vector, most of them not very applicable to what we are doing. But one definition refers to changing direction or course, as in an aircraft. Hence the wording of our tagline.

This is a relevant definition as it applies to us changing the course of vinyl, so one thought was to utilize an aircraft image, possibly similar to the one attached. This could be turned upside down to be used as a “V” in vector, or can be used as a background to the logo, or whatever.

However, that is just one direction we have considered, and we certainly don’t want to give the impression we are in anyway related to the airplane/travel industry. And we don’t want our own idea to stifle your creative thinking. It was just a thought and we welcome ideas that have nothing to do with it.

These new wall tiles come in two sizes, 12×24 and 18×36, if that imagery is helpful. All ideas are welcome and encouraged; new taglines, plane ideas, no planes, etc.

We have attached both a photo of this product installed on a kitchen island and an image of the plane we spoke of, which if inverted could be a V….but again, this is just an idea.
